Solid Silicone Rubber, Compression Molded for Scale.
A high-consistency, food-grade rubber material engineered for large-size, high-strength silicone products. The backbone of YMS pet product manufacturing -- proven across 15 years of OEM/ODM supply to global brands.
Core Characteristics
Why Solid Silicone Is the Industry Workhorse
HTV solid silicone combines mechanical strength, thermal stability, and absolute material safety -- ideal for pet products that face daily chewing, washing, and outdoor use.
High Tear Strength
Superior tear and tensile resistance makes it ideal for chew-prone pet products and functional parts under repeated stress.
-50°C to 230°C
Exceptional thermal stability. Dishwasher-safe, freezer-safe, and resistant to UV, ozone, and weathering.
100% Food Grade
BPA-free, odorless, non-toxic. Certified safe for direct food and skin contact under FDA & LFGB standards.
Low Compression Set
Retains shape and elasticity under long-term load. 45% improved resilience versus standard rubber materials.

Material Specifications
Hardness & Physical Property Range
Our solid silicone compounds span the full durometer spectrum -- from ultra-soft tactile grips to firm structural components. Dimensional tolerance is held within ±0.1mm across every batch.
Soft Range (30-50 Shore A)
Ideal for pet licking mats, soft bowls, grooming brushes.
Medium Range (50-70 Shore A)
Standard for foldable bowls, feeding mats, collars.
Firm Range (70-90 Shore A)
For chew toys, structural components, high-wear parts.

Process Fit
Compression Molding -- Built for Solid Silicone
Solid silicone is best shaped through compression molding, a process delivering superior mechanical properties and cost efficiency at scale.
Material Preparation
Raw solid silicone compound is weighed, color-matched, and cut into precise preform sheets.
Mold Loading
Preforms are placed into heated steel molds. Our 32 solid lines handle both single and multi-cavity tools.
Heat & Pressure Cure
Vulcanized at 170-200°C under high pressure. The material cross-links into its final rubber state.
Deflash & QC
Trimming, post-curing, and full inspection to ensure every unit meets dimensional and visual SOPs.
Large-Size Capability
The Natural Choice for Large Silicone Products
Solid silicone's compression molding process is uniquely suited for oversized, thick-walled, and large-surface products -- where liquid injection would be cost-prohibitive or technically unfeasible.
- Large pet feeding & placemats
- Pet beds & cushion inserts
- Oversized grooming mats
- Thick-walled chew & structural parts
- Large outdoor collars & accessories
Cost & MOQ
Cost Structure & Order Scale Guidance
Understanding the economics of solid silicone helps brands plan sourcing with confidence.
Lower Unit Cost at Scale
Solid silicone compounds are more affordable per kg than LSR. Combined with efficient compression tooling, large runs achieve excellent unit economics.
Best for mid-to-large volume runs
Flexible MOQ
Typical MOQ ranges from 1,000 to 3,000 pcs depending on product complexity, mold cavities, and custom color requirements.
1,000 - 3,000 pcs
Tooling Investment
Compression molds are more economical than LSR injection tools. Multi-cavity designs amortize quickly over production runs.
15 - 25 days typical
Material Comparison
Solid Silicone vs. Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR)
Both deliver premium performance -- choosing the right one depends on your product geometry, volume, and feature priorities.
YMS supports both. With 32 solid lines + 32 LSR lines, we help you select the optimal process based on your product's geometry, volume, and performance targets.
Color & Customization
Pantone-Matched Colors & Material Finishes
Match any Pantone shade. Choose from matte, gloss, translucent, or marbled finishes. Enhance with secondary processes to deliver a signature brand feel.
Pantone Color Matching
Precise brand color accuracy, batch to batch.
